All of the series in the drop-down menu are listed in alphabetical order. Each series page will also show any upcoming titles (if I have a cover for them, that is!).
A Note About My Series:
Writing series can get complicated. Not just keeping track of everyone’s names and what happened when and who’s related to whom (which gets really dicey in the Witches of Cleopatra Hill books), but also in the way you handle series order and numbering. Basically, I have two types of series going right now: ongoing series that have the same setting but involve a new set of characters in each book and therefore don’t need to be read in order (although sometimes characters from earlier books get cameos in later ones), and closed trilogies that must be read in order if you want to have any idea of what’s going on. It gets more complicated when I do what I’ve done with the Cleopatra Hill series and the Djinn Wars series, and I have standalone titles in the same world. So how do you know what’s what?
I have a chronology of each series on its page on my website, so you can always check there (this holds true for the books that are standalone titles as well). Also, if it’s a book that needs to be read in a particular order, the cover is the biggest giveaway, because it’ll say “Book 1 of the Witches of Cleopatra Hill” or “The Sedona Files: Book 1” or what-have-you. The ongoing series books just say “A Novel of the Gaian Consortium” or “Tales of the Latter Kingdoms,” with no number. The later books in the Witches of Cleopatra Hill series, such as Sympathetic Magic, Protector, Spellbound, etc., say “A Witches of Cleopatra Hill Novel,” just as Broken, Forsaken, and Forbidden are labeled "A Djinn Wars Novel." That way you know they're more standalone stories. Technically, those novels do contain spoilers, simply because they're the later books in a series, but a reader should (I hope) be able to understand what’s going on without having read the previous books.
If you're following a particular series and want to keep up to date on my newest releases in that series, I highly recommend signing up for new release notifications through my newsletter. I only send out a newsletter when I have a new book available or have information about very special sales and limited-time offers, so you don't have to worry about getting spammed; these newsletters usually go out once a month. The sign-up form is below.
